Welcome to Feeding Brian! Brian, the inspiration behind this blog, is my fantastically supportive husband who eats everything I cook and bake. Our son, who is now 14 months, eats almost everything I cook! As you peruse my blog you will notice that my cooking is somewhat eclectic. I strive to feed my family the best food possible, both in taste and healthfulness. In the past I have tried a gluten free diet to help stabilize my blood sugars. I have had Type 1 diabetes for 27 years, and found that lowering the level of gluten in my diet helped me to stay more in control and stable. Recently, I have been eating a paleo-ish style diet and making sure to have clean foods (homemade bread and granola bars, etc) for my son and husband. I strive to cook and bake healthy and delicious food that can be enjoyed by anyone! Enjoy the blog and I hope to see you back here often!
